英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法入門：現(xiàn)在時(shí)

There are two tenses in English – past and present.

在英語(yǔ)里有兩種時(shí)態(tài)—過(guò)去時(shí)和現(xiàn)在時(shí)。

The present tenses in English are used:

現(xiàn)在時(shí)在英語(yǔ)里：

to talk about the present

可以描述現(xiàn)在

to talk about the future

可以描述將來(lái)

to talk about the past when we are telling a story in spoken English or when we are summarisinga book, film, play etc.

在口語(yǔ)中講過(guò)去的故事或者在描述一本書、電影或者戲劇時(shí)，用現(xiàn)在時(shí)

We use these forms:

to talk about the present:

He works at McDonald’s. He has worked there for three months now.

He is working at McDonald’s. He has been working there for three months now.

London is the capital of Britain.

to talk about the future:

The next train leaves this evening at 1700 hours.

I’ll phone you when I get home.

He’s meeting Peter in town this afternoon.

I’ll come home as soon as I have finished work.

You will be tired out after you have been working all night.
