A： I understand that you‘ve got an apartment to lease. Mr.Steve. Will you please tell me what the room is like？

B： Sure. It’s a room for twa people， nice and bright.
乙：好的。那是間不錯(cuò)的雙人房，很明亮。
A： Then what about the rent？

B： 200 dollars per month， including everything.

A： Sounds just wonderful. I wonder if I could come over and have a look.

B： Yeah，please do. Now let me show you the house.

A： This seems a pretty nice room， I should say.
甲：應(yīng)該說(shuō)房子還是相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)的。
B： You bet. This is the nicest room in this district. You know what， I just had all the walls repainted last month.
乙：你說(shuō)對(duì)了。這是這一區(qū)最好的房子了。你知道嗎，上個(gè)月我剛把所有的墻壁粉刷了一下。
A： What about the kitchen？
甲：廚房怎么樣？
B： It’s a well-furnished eat-in kitchen. The stove and the ice-hox are in good order， and the plumbing is OK， too.

A： I see. I‘d like to live here for about three years.

Hints語(yǔ)言提示
1.....you’ve got an apartment to let. to let 意為“出租”。let 一詞除了有使役動(dòng)詞的含義之外，還有實(shí)意動(dòng)詞“出租”之意。如： The door with the
words “ta let” on it is tightly closed. 寫有“出租”兩字的那扇門關(guān)得緊緊的。
2.I should say 意為“我得說(shuō)……”，口語(yǔ)化表達(dá)。
3.You know what... 意為“你知道嗎……”，用以引出下面的話題。也是非常口語(yǔ)化的表達(dá)方式。
4.repaint /v. 給……重新上漆
5.be in good order 意為“運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)正常，狀態(tài)良好”。如： All the parts of the machine are in good order now.目前機(jī)器的所有部件均在正常運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)。
6.more in 意為“搬進(jìn)，人住”。如： We moped in to the new apartment last week.上周我們搬進(jìn)了新居。
