whoa 是西部牛仔經常說的話嗎?沒錯，Cowboys say "whoa" when they want their horses to slow down. 當牛仔說whoa后，他們的馬就會慢下來。所以whoa的第一個意思就是：a command to stop 嘿，慢點。

When someone says something that you think is very obvious, or asks you a stupid question, you can say "duh". 直白來說，duh就是“廢話”的意思。

4 Oh, Boy

"Oh, Boy!" is a common American expression that really has nothing to do with boys at all. 不必問美國人為什么不說 "Oh, girl" 或者別的，因為這么用就是一種習慣，大家都不知道原因。

Oh boy可表示高興和興奮的情緒。
