你一天花在手機上面多長時間?天天玩手機，肯定會碰到，“欠費”、“沒電”、“關機”這些情況，你知道這些用英語如何地道表達嗎?

先來說說“欠費”，肯定有同學要說，“欠費”不就是沒錢了嗎?那還不簡單，“My cellphone has no money”，沒錯，“欠費”就是說“錢用花了”，但是這樣子表達就比較中式了，英語里“手機欠費”的地道表達應該是“My cellphone ran out of credit.”

“run out of”是“用光，耗盡”的意思，“credit”除了大家都知道的“信用，聲譽，積分”外，還有“話費”的意思，所以，“手機欠費”在英語中就表達為“run out of credit ”

或者也可以說，“My cellphone charge is overdue.”

1. 開機/關機

一般來說，如果我們想要表達電子設備的開關，比如開/關燈，開/關電視機，直接用open/close來表達，都是非常中式的表達，而地道的說法應該是“Turn on/off”或“Switch on/off”。

2. 給我打電話

Call me (√)

“給我打電話”說的是給“我”打電話，而非“我的手機”，所以我們直接用call me(sb.)來表達就可以了。

到了辦公室馬上給我打電話。

3. 接電話

Receive the phone (×)

Answer the phone(√)

“接電話”本身說的是及時回復某人的電話，而非直接“接受電話”，“receive”接收的往往是信號或電報之類的，如果表示接電話，我們通常使用answer，表達更為地道。

Will you answer the phone for me please?

麻煩你幫我接一下電話。

4. 手機快沒電

My phone’s dead (×)

My phone’s off (×)

My phone’s dying (√)

My phone’s off和My phone’s dead通常是表示完全沒電了，而My phone’s dying則是表示電量慢慢消失的狀態。

我手機快沒電了，先掛了。

5. 翻手機

Look through my phone (√)

Check my phone是看一眼手機(一般是短暫的)≠ 翻看，表示“翻手機”，我們通常要用“Look through my phone”，“翻看”需要一段時間，用“look through”更合適。

我大約看了一百多次手機，想看他有沒有給我回微信。
