2011年實(shí)用口語練習(xí):不只是裸露這么簡單

bare：做形容詞時(shí)，意為空的，裸露的，僅有的，稀少的。做動詞時(shí)意為裸露，露出。

跟bare相關(guān)的習(xí)語又有哪些呢？

1.bare-bones：梗概，本質(zhì)。

例句：This one is the bare-bones model. It has no accessories at all.

這是最基本的模型。沒有其他的附件。

2.bare one’s head：脫帽致敬。

例句：Bare your head when the flag is raised.當(dāng)旗子升起時(shí)請脫帽致敬。

3.bare the soul：訴衷腸。

例句：Mary bared her soul to Jane and Jane told Mary her problems also.瑪麗和簡互訴衷腸。

4.with bare hands：赤手空拳，空手的。

例句：I beat him with my bare hands。我赤手空拳地打了他。

bare-hand：徒手。
